What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane of the Daily Planet are preparing a series of articles to expose District Attorney Parker as corrupt, supplied with facts by former assistant Ralph Renson. An invisible man appears in the editor's office and warns them not to publish, insisting he is working for Parker and can make his threats good. Kent refuses to be intimidated and the stranger vanishes. The threats continue at a dinner date, where Kent and Lois are told to drop the campaign or regret it. Back at the office, editor Perry White receives a final warning that the presses will be stopped if they run the story. The Adventures of Superman is a 1940 radio series, and this episode aired on November 13, 1940. The episode ends with the question of whether the threats will be carried out.
