What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane, reporters for the Daily Planet, are called into editor Perry White's office, where they meet Ralph Ransom, a former assistant to District Attorney Parker. Ransom says Parker's office has protected many criminals, and he offers proof of the district attorney's corruption. The editor agrees to run a campaign against Parker, and Kent and Lane are assigned to write the articles from Ransom's material. Meanwhile, Parker is alarmed by the plan and speaks with his associate Brownie. A mysterious voice then announces that it belongs to an invisible man, who offers to stop the newspaper's campaign for a price. The episode is the first part of a Superman radio adventure, first broadcast on November 11, 1940.
