What happens
Clark Kent, Perry White, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are flying north to the Hudson Bay hunting lodge of Sebastian Beauvais, an old friend of White's who needs help. Their seaplane crashes into a river in flames, and Superman pulls the plane to shore, saving everyone aboard. In Metropolis, a mysterious figure called the Laffer plots against the group with his henchman Bullets Maguire, and he tells Bullets he has a new idea. Back in Ottawa, White grows impatient with the delays, and he arranges a private flight with a pilot named Shepherd. The group boards the plane with a passenger named Niles Graham, who seems friendly and welcoming.
