What happens
Perry White, editor of The Daily Planet, prepares to travel to the Hudson Bay region of northern Canada after receiving a letter from his old friend Sebastian Beauvay, who hints at serious trouble. Clark Kent and Lois Lane insist on accompanying him. After a small package containing a rifle bullet and a warning arrives at the office, the three shop for cold-weather gear at a sporting goods store. An argument breaks out over a coat and boots in a small size, and a rifle is pointed at the group. The episode is part two of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series; the transcript does not give an original air date or cast, so none are stated here. The story is left unresolved at the close of this section, with the rifle discharging toward White.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
