What happens
Superman rescues Jimmy Olsen after Jimmy is thrown from the Metropolis Bridge by two henchmen of Frank Hill, leader of the Guardians of America. Clark Kent, who had learned of Jimmy's danger through a call from a young Italian girl, takes flight in his Superman costume to reach him in time. Jimmy explains that he learned enough at the Guardians' headquarters to threaten Hill, and Superman brings him to Hill's home. There Superman plans to frighten the men, who believe Jimmy is dead, before they are turned over to the police. This Part 24 episode of The Adventures of Superman first aired on May 17, 1946, and the transcript breaks off as Hill and his men face the apparition in the doorway.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
