What happens
Jimmy Olsen, a cub reporter for the Daily Planet, is locked in a police cell after a staged arrest meant to protect his cover among a juvenile gang linked to a hate-mongering group in Metropolis. Clark Kent has arranged the scheme so Jimmy can get close to the gang's higher-ups. Jimmy confesses to Clark his fear that the gang's suspicions could unravel the plan and endanger others. Now a lawyer arrives at the cell, claiming to represent the people behind the gang, and questions Jimmy closely. Jimmy must play tough and suspicious while the lawyer offers to secure his release. The Adventures of Superman radio series, original air date April 30, 1946, presents this part of the story.

Listen for: Jimmy's tense exchange with the lawyer as he tries to decide whether to trust him.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
