What happens
Clark Kent enlists Jimmy Olsen, a Daily Planet cub reporter, to infiltrate a juvenile gang led by a boy called Muggs, which is believed to be part of an organized campaign of racial and religious hatred. Jimmy is posing as a spy inside the gang's pool room hangout. When a gang member named Dutch, who overheard Jimmy's phone call with Kent, is struck by a car and later slips out of the hospital, Jimmy is exposed. Kent contacts Inspector Henderson and arranges for a uniformed officer to meet him, then has Dutch and Jimmy taken from the pool room by police. Meanwhile, Muggs reports to the unseen man who directs the gang, who begins to suspect that Jimmy is not what he seems. The Adventures of Superman, broadcast in 1946, stars George Reeves as Superman.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
