What happens
Clark Kent races to bring Dr. Ernest Henley from a Chicago theater to Metropolis, where newsboy Danny O'Neill needs a delicate brain operation after being beaten. Superman flies the surgeon to the city while a wave of hate and prejudice spreads through Metropolis, following a fire that destroyed six buildings on Morton Street. Back at the Daily Planet, Clark and Jimmy Olsen wait anxiously for news of the operation. Meanwhile, the gangster Mugs is confronted by an unseen man behind a curtain who demands to know why Danny was attacked. The episode is part of the Adventures of Superman radio series, first broadcast on April 19, 1946.
