What happens
Clark Kent and real estate agent Ed Jenks, convinced that a mysterious stranger is behind the ghost car accidents, become trapped with Lois Lane when a cave-in seals them inside an abandoned mine at the Baro Ranch. Clark lifts a heavy boulder to free them, then examines the damaged entrance beam and finds rope marks suggesting it was pulled out of place. Back at the ranch, Clark questions manager Nelson Blaine about owner Steve Graham, who had warned them away from the mine. Lois then spots fresh rope marks on the pommel of the saddle belonging to Alfredo, a hot-tempered gaucho the ranch employs. The story is part five of The Adventures of Superman and is set at a dude ranch.
