What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane travel to the Barrow Ranch after young Jimmy Olsen calls with alarming news of automobile accidents on the mountain road. Jimmy claims a mysterious ghost car forces drivers off the road at a tunnel curve and vanishes afterward. Clark's telephone call with Jimmy is cut off, and the line to the ranch is reported out of order. A station agent refuses to drive them to the ranch at night, citing a driver whose car was wrecked by the phantom vehicle. Clark rents an old car and sets out with Lois, warned about a dangerous turn before the tunnel. As they approach the curve, an oncoming car bears down on them and they crash into the mountainside.
