What happens

Superman's alter ego Clark Kent works with Major Campbell of the Secret Service after the Leopard Woman and her radio operator Brouwer escape a waterfront explosion by jumping into the water. The pair steal a car and then a seaplane from a private base, planning to contact a submarine offshore. Clark learns from a Coast Guard listening post that the plane is heading for a rendezvous, and he sets off to intercept it. Later, at the Metropolis office, he receives a telephone call from Jimmy Olsen, which is cut off after Jimmy mentions a ghost car.

Metropolis and the surrounding coast, including a seaplane base, a state highway, and a Coast Guard station.

Characters: Clark Kent, Superman, Major Campbell, The Leopard Woman, Brouwer, Jimmy Olsen

Listen for: Clark Kent's call to the Coast Guard station and the radio message about the rendezvous position sixty-five miles southwest.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
