What happens
In the flood-cut village of Hilltop, Lois Lane and the villagers are held captive by six escaped convicts led by Harry Dokes. Young Jerry Farber rides his pony through the raging floodwaters to reach a city and bring back help. Meanwhile, Lois and Marty Farber are taken to the bank building and questioned about where the other villagers are hiding. The convicts threaten Marty and Lois as they press for answers, while a Red Cross boat drifts on the current. Superman searches the flood waters, where he finds Jerry and his pony caught in the current and carries them to safety. The episode is part five of The Adventures of Superman serial, first aired on August 13, 1945.
