What happens
Editor Perry White and reporter Lois Lane discuss the murder of Dr. Chi Wan, a scholar who had found an ancient Chinese manuscript describing a secret of everlasting life tied to ten jade dragon's teeth. Clark Kent is also part of the conversation, and the story turns on a jeweler named Walter Huffman, who may be trying to obtain the jade. Jimmy Olsen overhears part of the discussion and insists that Superman is real. Chief White decides to run an open letter appealing to Superman to come forward. Clark Kent visits Huffman to ask about jade, then a telegram arrives asking White to meet Superman at an old deserted mansion at eight o'clock.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
