What happens
Superman arrives on the planet Apollo to warn its people that their world is leaving its orbit and will fall toward the sun. He is drugged by giants and loses his strength, and is taken in by an elderly man named Thane, who helps him recover. Thane's daughter Lalo assists them, and Superman learns that a strange lantern burning sacred oil seems to restore his powers. He resolves to plead with the Ros, the ruler of the land, and his astrologers. The episode is part four of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on November 11, 1946.
