What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen, reporters for the Daily Planet, arrive at Dead Man's Island in the Caribbean after finding a turtle with a plea for help scratched on its shell. On the island they meet Ilana and her brother Boris, who live in a stone house with a trained hawk. Kent learns that a dynamo powers magnets hidden in nearby rocks that draw ships to their doom. He shuts the dynamo down and goes back into the house. Jimmy and the prisoner Carl Edwards are locked in a tower room, and Edwards urges Jimmy to escape. The episode ends with the dynamo switched back on and the rescuers heading toward danger.
