What happens

Clark Kent and Perry White of the Daily Planet wait anxiously for news of Count Maniac, the traitor who forced the young King Charles of Moravia to give up his throne. Dr. Trigor, the elderly ambassador of Moravia, worries that Maniac will escape and that the Nazis will gain the country's oil. Kent reports that police are on their way to take Dr. Trigor away, and he, Perry White and the ambassador ride with Lieutenant Carney to the morgue, where they are asked to identify a body. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as the body is uncovered under a surgical light.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
