What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane are in Mecca when a knife is thrown at Kent, Jimmy Olsen vanishes, and a poisoned black narcissus is delivered to Kent's room. The Sheik Hussein Mohammed has asked Kent to search the Belgian Congo for his missing son before he dies, and the sheik names his brother Ben Ali as leader of the Black Narcissist cult. Kent, in his Superman identity, confronts Ben Ali and the messenger Kater at a house near the Temple of Allah and forces them to talk. Later Jimmy turns up at the hotel and explains his strange behavior. The episode is part of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on October 14, 1942.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
