What happens
Clark Kent is taken to a rest farm after his coworkers at the Daily Planet believe he has become irrational. Lois Lane and editor Perry White watch as attendants force him into a straitjacket despite protests. Alone and locked in a small room, Clark slips free, bends the window bars and flies out as Superman toward the Daily Planet offices. There he finds a man rummaging through a desk, a new reporter named Henry Miller, who has been sent to search for information that could lead him to Superman. The story is part twelve of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on October 25, 1945, and this installment ends on a cliffhanger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
