What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane, reporters for the Daily Planet, continue their investigation into the disappearance of an armored freight car carrying five million dollars in gold. After a railroad terminal attack on Lois is foiled by Superman, the reporters meet bank president Reginald Van Doren and his secretary, Mr. Fortune, who is wearing a ring with a large emerald. Clark produces an emerald at the bank, raising Fortune's suspicions. Fortune reports to his boss that the reporters are being followed, and the two plan to act once Kent and Lois leave their restaurant. This episode is from The Adventures of Superman radio series, first aired on November 27, 1940.
