What happens

Superman, now amnesiac and known as Bud Smith, a star pitcher for the Gainesville Colts, is sold by manager Shorty Taylor to the Metropolis Titans. Hoping to finish his hated rival, the dishonest politician George Latimer and his detective Al McGuire chase Smith to the train station and board the midnight limited bound for Metropolis. Aboard, Smith sits in his compartment, still trying to recall his true identity, while Latimer approaches with a lead box holding a piece of Kryptonite. The episode is part of the long-running radio series The Adventures of Superman.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
