What happens
Superman is trapped in an abandoned mill, held helpless by a jagged piece of Kryptonite that drains his strength. His enemy, the crooked politician George Latimer, is determined to find a way to kill him, while his secretary Gus and others try a series of methods. Latimer's men fire bullets and use a blowtorch against him without success. Meanwhile Batman searches the countryside by plane, while Robin and Alfred coordinate by radio from the Batmobile. Superman hopes Batman will spot the mill from the air. This is the eleventh part of the Superman serial, first broadcast on May 28, 1947, and the cast is not named in the transcript.
An old, deserted mill deep in the woods, and the surrounding countryside and highways

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
