What happens
Superman visits Latimer's home and finds the crooked former political boss holding the last piece of Kryptonite, the substance that weakens him. Latimer has challenged the Man of Steel to appear before a crowd and deny that he framed the evidence that sent Latimer to prison. Superman tries to explain his position to Perry White, the editor of the Daily Planet, who begins to doubt him. The story continues as Superman prepares to face the audience at the Metropolis auditorium.
