What happens
Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen, copy boy at the Daily Planet, watch the Juanita, the ship of Professor Thorpe, head for the channel into Manau Harbor. Clark sees a man in a boat watching the ship through binoculars and slips away to investigate. Superman appears, dives into the channel and disarms several underwater mines just before the ship reaches them. Jimmy describes what he saw to Clark, who listens with doubt. Later, Professor Thorpe learns that Captain Maddox is recovering at Dr. Corrallo's house and that Bill Wentworth has had an accident. Jimmy receives a written message offering to return the stolen gold if he goes to the cemetery, and he sets off to find it.
