What happens

Clark Kent and Major Campbell of the Secret Service follow the leopard woman, leader of an oriental spy ring, after letting her escape from prison in the hope she will lead them to the ring's headquarters. She enters a brownstone house that proves to be empty, with only smoldering incense and a silver medallion bearing Japanese letters left behind. Campbell, frustrated by the failed operation, dismisses Kent from the case. Back at the Daily Planet, Lois Lane reads a classified ad for a genuine leopard skin, and she and Kent follow the lead to a boarded-up waterfront house, where a man agrees to show them the skin.

A brownstone house in the city, a drugstore and police phone, the Secret Service office, the Daily Planet editorial room, and a boarded-up house on Front Street by the waterfront.

Characters: Superman, Clark Kent, Major Campbell, Lois Lane, Mr. White, Harold, Kane, Johnson

Listen for: The medallion with Japanese letters and a leopard, Major Campbell's theory about the leopard woman's instructions to her gang, and the classified ad for a genuine leopard skin.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
