What happens
Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen open a box of poisoned candy sent to Lois at the Daily Planet, and Jimmy is badly poisoned. Clark Kent sits anxiously at the hospital while doctors fail to find an antidote for the oriental venom. The poison is identified as a drug from a plant that has been used for suicide, and only one man, a doctor who once worked in Tokyo, may know how to counter it. Clark learns this doctor left Singapore aboard a passenger ship, and he resolves to find that ship. Superman, the series' hero, is introduced as a man who has powers far beyond those of ordinary men. Clark's search takes him toward the vessel, the Queen of the Sea, as danger closes in at sea.
The offices of the Daily Planet newspaper, a city hospital, and the Pacific Ocean aboard the passenger ship Queen of the Sea, sailing from Singapore toward San Francisco.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
