What happens
Superman's rescue of Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and the Countess Wojasco has ended the threat in the mosque, and the three reporters are back at their hotel. Clark Kent is finishing a cable to the Daily Planet when a visitor arrives with a summons from Sheik Tassan Mohammed. At the Sheik's estate, the aging ruler explains that he wants Kent to find his son, who vanished fifteen years earlier while searching for a lost tribe of pygmies in the Belgian Congo. Kent agrees to take the assignment, and the Sheik offers him his son's old maps. As the reporters leave, a knife is thrown at Kent from an upstairs window, shattering against him. The episode is one installment of The Adventures of Superman, first aired October 9, 1942.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
