What happens
Superman, Batman and Robin are searching for two stolen pieces of kryptonite and a secret criminal ring that marks its contacts with a crescent moon and star. Following an informer named Squeely Evers, Batman and Robin enter the Golden Lily nightclub, where they focus on singer Gloria Garrett, who wears a jeweled crescent ornament in her hair. When Gloria leaves hurriedly after receiving an envelope from a waiter, the heroes grab hold of the rear bumper of her car. Superman follows Squeely Evers in a separate pursuit. From The Adventures of Superman, a 1945 radio serial, this part of the story follows the trail toward an unknown destination.
