What happens
Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen are vacationing at Horn House on the New England coast, the home of Jimmy's Aunt Louisa Horn. The house holds a maze of secret passages, and Christopher Horn has been caught signaling from the tower of an abandoned lighthouse. Jasper Quimby, a local banker, has been found unconscious in the house. At breakfast, Aunt Louisa explains that a valuable Chinese jade vanished from the house decades ago and was never found. Christopher admits he has been working with a smuggling gang and reveals that the jade may be hidden somewhere within the house. The episode is part of the 1940 radio series The Adventures of Superman, and this installment is Part 05 of the Lighthouse Point Smugglers storyline, first broadcast July 31, 1940.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
