What happens
Jimmy Olsen and the stowaway Pep Flanagan are aboard the Clara M as she sails slowly through thick fog, while Superman has left the ship to rescue crews from two colliding tankers. Barnaby, the prisoner the crew had locked in irons, has escaped with the help of the sailor Limey, and the two men have taken the treasure map from the captain's safe. Jimmy and Pug learn that every lifeboat has been holed, and they realize that the men are planning to sink the ship. The episode presents the danger aboard the Clara M as it grows, leaving the boys trapped with no way to escape.
