What happens

Clark Kent searches for his missing friends Jimmy Olsen and Jack Wilson after they were abducted by agents of the Knights of the White Carnation, a hate group. Clark and the detective Jackson track a florist's customer to an apartment above a pool hall, but find it empty, with Jimmy's hat as the only trace. In the room, Clark discovers a pattern of white carnation petals on the floor and believes the boys left it as a message. Meanwhile the kidnappers, Joe McMillan and Fargo, drive into the hills with the unconscious Jimmy and the bound Jack. The episode is part of the Adventures of Superman radio series, first broadcast on March 14, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
