What happens
Jimmy Olsen and Jack Wilson have been captured by agents of a hate group and held at a hideout. Vincent Kirby, the group's leader, forces Jimmy to write a false newspaper story for the Daily Planet, under threat to Jack's safety. Clark Kent confides his fears to private detective Candy Myers, and together they begin a desperate search for the missing boys, following only slim clues such as the white carnations and a suspicious phone call. The story is part eleven of The Adventures of Superman, originally broadcast on March 12, 1947, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger as Jimmy's story is set to run on page one.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
