What happens
Clark Kent and Perry White look into the murder of Charles Canfield and the arrests of two Metropolis High School basketball players, Kazimir Pulaski and Tony Resuti, who are accused of taking money to throw a game. Kent doubts the boys are guilty, having seen no marks on them after they say they were ambushed. Kent visits the district attorney's office, meets a gambler named Jip Monroe who confesses to the bribe, and becomes convinced the charges are a frame-up linked to the murder. Kent then goes out as Superman to help White bail the boys out of jail. The episode ends with the Knights of the White Carnation, led by Vincent Kirby, planning a further campaign against foreign-born students.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
