What happens
Clark Kent, who is secretly Superman, has promised Inspector Henderson that he will catch the bank robber within 24 hours or produce Superman himself. Kent and his friend Batman, with the young Robin, wait at night outside the small bank in Lordville, the one town the burglar has not yet hit. Their radio contact with the detective Candy Myers in Somerset fails, and a strange shape is seen moving across the moon. Superman flies off to investigate it, leaving Batman and Robin uneasy as the minutes pass. The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial, first broadcast on February 7, 1946.
