What happens
Superman and Batman suspect a second masked figure with superhuman powers is robbing banks in small towns near Metropolis. Superman stands watch at the Lordville bank while Batman and Robin wait in Somerset, where a caped stranger attacks them and flies off. Superman wonders whether he has been sleepwalking and robbing the banks himself, since he has recently suffered headaches and lapses into sleep. The pair visit Dr. Alfred Halper, director of the Metropolis Hospital, who doubts Superman could commit such acts. The episode ends with a newspaper report that Inspector Henderson has identified the bank robber as Superman.
