What happens
Superman searches for Professor Sturgeon, an atom bomb scientist who has been taken from New Orleans by air. Clark Kent, at the Brownsville airport, learns that the plane carrying the professor is overdue and has vanished. Superman flies out over the Gulf of Mexico looking for the converted army transport. Meanwhile, pilots Bill Ramsey and Bruce McMillan, flying the plane, grow uneasy about their two passengers, a doctor and a man who calls himself Polymer, whose cover story does not add up. The episode is part of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on July 11, 1946.
