What happens
Superman, who is also reporter Clark Kent, tracks Hans Holbein after the doll factory explosion and the stormy rescue of Lois Lane and Perry White. Holbein has fled by private plane, leaving editor White and a man named Joe tied up on a small island rigged to explode in ten minutes. Clark follows Holbein's plane back to the airport and confronts him on the road, threatening him with the evidence he has gathered. Holbein reveals the island is set to blow, and Superman races to the island through the night. Clark pulls White from a collapsing shack just as the island sinks into the sea.
