What happens
Clark Kent and editor Perry White search by seaplane through a storm for a small man-made island where Hans Holbein has taken Lois Lane. Holbein had been stockpiling a powerful new explosive, and his factory was wrecked by its accidental detonation. Spotting a drifting rowboat, Kent lands the plane in heavy seas and then goes out on the wing to find it. Meanwhile on the island, Holbein and his helper Joe discuss the explosives and a hidden master switch that could destroy the island. This part of the episode is drawn from the first portion of the serial installment, and the transcript is partly garbled in places.
