What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane are sent to cover an explosion at the Daub doll factory in the town of Melville, which killed thirteen people. Kent investigates the ruins while Lois goes to interview Hans Holbein, the factory's owner. Holbein holds Lois captive and plots to bring down a cracked wall on Kent. Kent discovers that the dolls contain a powerful black powder explosive, and he and the police chief begin to suspect Holbein. The episode ends with Lois trapped near the crumbling wall and a fuse burning down.
