What happens
Clark Kent, a reporter for a metropolitan newspaper, searches the snowy woods for his friends Jimmy Olsen and Batiste after they have gone missing. Earlier, the smuggler Bull left them bound inside a dark cave. Kent finds the smuggling shack empty and questions the gang member Chuck, who turns out to be connected to the plot. Chuck admits that Bull has been running a fur smuggling racket and that a pilot called Frenchy drops off bundles of skins. Kent confronts Chuck, who tries to trick him, and the two men pursue the trail toward the cave. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Batiste face an approaching bear in the darkness. The Adventures of Superman is an old-time radio serial, and this is Part 05 of its fur smuggling storyline, first aired on July 23, 1941.
