What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen, reporters for the Daily Planet, look into the disappearance of Dr. Robling, a famous inventor, from a locked train drawing room. Kent, who is secretly Superman, has already been arrested after forcing the door, and the two men follow the trail to Martin City. Their search turns up a young woman who says she is Robling's daughter, and a hotel registration that may hold a link to the missing man. The episode is the second part of a serial in The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on July 30, 1941. Its stars are not named in the transcript, so they are not given here.
