What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy escape from Dr. Deutch's island in a radio-controlled seaplane, carrying the injured Professor Browning. Heading toward a boat that Deutch has ordered, they land and overpower two of the crew, Joe and Bill, who refuse to reveal who their boss is. Clark tries the boat's radio to contact the naval base, but cannot tell whether his call is getting through. The two prisoners, freed of their ropes, plot to escape the stern compartment, and they set a fire to destroy the boat. The episode ends with the blaze spreading toward the gas tanks, and whether Clark and Jimmy can get the fire under control is left unresolved.
