What happens
Clark Kent and Secret Service agent Lewis approach a small shack on a cliff-edge beach at night, guided by an old caretaker who has seen men pushing a car into the water. Lewis is shot and killed outside the shack, and Clark Kent is taken captive inside by Dr. Deutch, who has a short-wave radio set and a large control panel. Deutch demands that Clark help him with his plans and asks for his papers, while a storm gathers outside. Meanwhile, at the Daily Planet, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen receive a typed message that appears to come from Clark Kent asking for help, and Jimmy sets off to find him. This is part three of The Adventures of Superman, the 1941 radio serial, first broadcast on May 30, 1941.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
