What happens
Superman, disguised as reporter Clark Kent, rescues Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and editor White from a burning forest near Little Falls, where racketeer Chip Denelli's gang has been hunting them. Denelli's henchman Spike, left to watch the group, is forced by Superman to reveal Denelli's plan to booby-trap a culvert on the road. Superman then sets out to intercept the car carrying the group back to town and to confront Denelli. The episode is a chapter of the 1940 radio serial The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on April 26, 1940.
