What happens
Superman, the mighty visitor from Krypton who lives as reporter Clark Kent at the Daily Planet, protects the Olsens, a shopkeeper and her son. Jip Denelli, a racketeer, has been collecting weekly protection payments from small storekeepers, and the Olsens' candy store is one of them. After Superman forced Denelli to return the money, Denelli's henchmen attack Mrs. Olsen and her son Jimmy on a dark street. A passer-by, who is Clark Kent, rescues them and takes Mrs. Olsen home. Afterward, Denelli plots against Jimmy and Lois Lane. The story continues, and this part of the episode ends there.
