What happens
Clark Kent and Perry White receive a note from the German scientist Teufel, who has abducted Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane and demands that Superman be in the Daily Planet office at six o'clock for a telephone call. Racing against the deadline, the two men broadcast a special announcement to reach Superman, who arrives in time to take the call. Teufel directs him to a remote cottage on a wooded cliff, where Superman confronts the scientist on the porch, and where the scientist's new atomic energy weapon is shown to be dangerously effective against him. The episode ends on a cliffhanger.
