What happens
Jimmy Olsen, a cub reporter at the Daily Planet, has been arrested and charged with passing counterfeit money, and he refuses to say where he got the bills. Editor Perry White has arranged his release on bail, and Clark Kent tries to get the boy to open up about the case. Jimmy insists he did not pass the bills knowingly but will not name anyone. Then Lois Lane, who has taken Jimmy's mother home, is herself arrested after paying a cab driver with a five-dollar bill that proves to be counterfeit. Jimmy seems to recognize someone, and Clark urges him to speak. This is an episode from The Adventures of Superman, first aired on October 18, 1946, and the leads include Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
