What happens
Matt Riggs, leader of the Clan of the Fiery Cross, escapes Superman after a failed attack and returns to Cedric Wilson, the clan's imperial mogul, for help. Wilson argues that money matters more than hatred, and Riggs grows more dangerous, planning to eliminate Perry White, Jimmy Olsen and his own nephew Chuck, who can identify him. Meanwhile Clark Kent tries to convince Inspector Henderson that the threat is real, while Henderson doubts Riggs's sincerity. As dawn breaks, Riggs slips back into his house through a secret tunnel and heads toward his nephew's room. This is part fourteen of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial, and the broadcast dates from June 27, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
