What happens
Candy Meyers, a private detective, and reporter Clark Kent, who is secretly Superman, pursue contractor Mike Ricky over a subway tunnel that collapsed, killing many people. Clark is convinced Ricky cheated on the building specifications and attacked Jimmy Olsen and Candy. Ricky, hoping to silence Candy, lures him to his penthouse, where he and his henchman Shortcake hold him at gunpoint. Meanwhile Clark has taken concrete samples to the laboratory and learns Candy has gone off alone to confront Ricky. This is part eight of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series from 1946.
