What happens
Clark Kent and Perry White, of the Daily Planet, investigate after cub reporter Jimmy Olsen is found hanging from the clock of the insurance building, forty-five stories above the street. Jimmy cannot remember how he got there, only that he was seized after the subway cave-in and knocked unconscious. Superman rescues him, and Clark finds a cheap handkerchief in Jimmy's pocket, matching one found on the beaten private detective Candy Mires. Clark suspects the subway disaster was not an accident, but he refuses to name the man responsible and insists he is protecting Lois and Perry. The episode is part six of the Superman series, heard in 1946 on the Kellogg's Pep broadcasts. The story continues into the next episode.
