What happens
Private detective Candy Myers promises Clark Kent and editor Perry White a sensational news story, but when they return to the hospital where he is recovering from a beating, Candy has vanished from his room. Kent and White suspect a connection to a recent subway cave-in that Candy had been investigating. Kent sends reporter Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane to collect concrete samples from the cave-in site, and their search for evidence leads to a dangerous confrontation with a speeding black sedan.
